The gift of hope

By Ana Li Cortés.

If I could share my heart with you, I would tell you that I would want you to develop your finances in such a way as to be an example to others and help them improve their finances as well. That is the final goal: to be light that shows the way for those in the dark. How many friends do you have that are in the swamp of despair because they don’t know how to get out of debt? How many of them are depressed because they don’t know where are they going? How many youngsters are scared that one day they will be the ones who run a home and the only thing they have learned at their homes is that there is never enough, and that life is hard? How many cases like these do you know of?

One day God was wondering the reason why His creation, in other words, we humans, could not see all the blessings and inheritance that He had given them so long ago. So, he decided to come down to earth and mix among human kind. He learned to limit himself, to lie to himself, to judge others, to discourage the loved ones and to trust no one. After doing all that, He tried to find the blessings and inheritance that He personally had provided for human kind, but since He had limited himself, he could not see them. He realized that it did not matter what could have been sacrificed to make His children know how much He loved them, they could not see these blessings until they changed their way of thinking and acting. Then He came up with something spectacular. He decided that through a greater sacrifice, He could build a bridge so that those who really wanted to have those blessings dare to cross it. Even when in His heart He wished that all mankind would cross that bridge, He also noticed that only the ones who dared to do things and who really wanted a change in their lives were the ones who could finally cross it. It is so that the bridge has been there for such a long time; therefore God sits at the other end of the bridge every day to see if that was the day when one of His children would cross it. Watch how many people barely go by, they don’t even look at it, and how others stand before it not do not make the decision to cross it, because they are afraid of what could be on the other side. Others simply push for it on impulse, get to the middle of it and they stay lying on the ground. Some others just can’t handle it and walk back. Only a few people, every day, decide not to look back and walk towards their blessings, leaving fear and pretexts aside.

When this happens, God opens up the doors of the heavens and pours down His blessings upon those who have been brave, strong and courageous. Many of them, once they conquer the other side of the bridge, dedicate themselves to help others who have just started crossing, because they want the others too enjoy everything that is there for them. Some of them sit down with God to plan new strategies to help more people to cross the bridge.

My sincere desire is that when you close this book, you are convinced that everything that I have taught you here is part of the plan God has for your life. He wants you to cross the bridge of prosperity so that you belong to the team made of those who can make things happen. God wants you to be brave and courageous, to have faith and to stand firm against adversities.

Good deeds need money to be carried out. We need more people like you, who can have that freedom of donating and doing more for people who have less. Be also a testimony of what God can do and being and example for others that it is possible to get a breakthrough.

This little story that I have told you is not real. Nevertheless, I believe is the best way to illustrate what is at the top of your ladder, at the end of your rainbow and in the heart of God.

Don’t let life outlive you; let it be you who lives your life. What matter is not to have a lot of money, but what you can accomplish once you have it.

If you fall but you know where you are going, you can use that fall to reach your goal.
